Statement of Faith

• The Bible to be the infallible Word of God, which is His holy and inspired Word, and that it is of supreme and final authority.
• In one God, externally existing in three persons - Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
• Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, took on Himself all our sins, died and rose again, is seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator and advocate, and is coming again soon.
• That all men everywhere are lost and face the judgment of God, and need to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through His shed blood on the cross.
• In holy Christian living, and that we must have concern for the hurts and social needs of our fellowmen.
• We must dedicate ourselves anew to the service of our Lord and to His authority over our lives.
• In using every modern means of communication available to us to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the entire world.

Chapter and member requirements

1. Each chapter must be established by, and be under the authority of a local church.  A chapter cannot exist apart from a local church.  It only takes two people to form a chapter. 
2. Not every member who wears the chapter colors has to be a member of the church represented by that chapter.  (It is not uncommon to have a rider with his/her membership in a different church or looking for a church home.  Some will join the group before joining the sponsoring church. 
3. Every memeber who wears the colors must be a born again follower of Christ, agree with the statememt of faith, and with the local church faith statement.
4.  There are no membership or chapter fees. You don't even need to have a motorcycle to belong. 
5. Fund raising for a local chapter is allowed provided it the local church approves the efforts.  We do not do Poker Runs.  There are a thousand other things you can do without giving encouragement to gambling.
6. This is a motorcycle ministry/riding group.  Whoever wears the Reason One patch will not only represent Reason One Riders everywhere, but also the local church and our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, every member must always be aware of his/her environment and their conduct.  You are an ambassador for Christ. 
7. Local chapters can add addition restrictions as necessary to enhance accountablity within the chapter and the local church.
8. Lifestyle Evangelism is at the heart of this ministry. Therefore, each member should strive to ride responsibility and always be ready to share the good news of Jesus Christ with all who will listen.  Ride to Live, Live for Christ.
9. Because this ministry is part of a local church, it should incorperate discipleship, fellowship, outreach, and missions into it's DNA.  In other words, anybody can ride.  We ride for Christ.
10. Have Fun!  There is a joy in riding and an even greater joy in serving our Lord.  It is time we redefine the motorcycle culture.  "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)
